SUMMARY
Type: Dancong Oolong Tea
Origin: Phoenix Village, Chaozhou, Guangdong province, China
Floral, sugarcane, peach
A “Xue Pian” Dancong, which are Oolong teas that’ve been harvested and produced during the winter tea season. Typically more fragrant than their spring counterparts, Phoenix Snowdrift also has incredible depth and a lingering, fruity aftertaste.
Similar in flavour to the Phoenix Dark Leaf, but with greater depth, thicker texture and a more rounded mouthfeel that helps the aroma and aftertaste linger on your palette a little longer. This is one to check out if you’re into aromatic Dancong oolong teas.
Xue Pian AKA Winter Dancong
"Xue Pian" is Dancong Oolong tea that's been harvested and produced during the winter tea season. This particular xue pian sprouted a little later this winter season and the tea was only finished in January 2023. But the wait was worth it. A wonderfully floral and aromatic Dancong Oolong that's worth jumping on it if you’re a fan of aromatic, Oolong teas.
TASTING NOTES
A well balanced tea with a light floral aroma that opens up to reveal a sweet fruity flavour. The rich, buttery smooth texture helps leave a lingering floral after-taste with a hint of fruitiness on your palate.
