SUMMARY
Type: Dark Tea
Origin: Anhua, Hunnan, China
Woody, Musky, Herbal
Fu Zhuan is a dark, fermented style of tea, with this one being produced by the Zhong Cha tea company. With material made in 2007 and pressed into tightly packed bricks in 2009, it's a thick, earthy and warming sort of tea that's quite similar to Ripe Pu'erh, but well...different. It's a tough brick to crack but well worth the effort to do so. This is one to brew long and strong to get the most out of it.
About Zhong Cha
Established in 1949, Zhong Cha was the first national tea company in China. Within a few years, the company expanded and became a major trade company of Chinese tea. They are known for producing great quality teas of all types, but especially known for their Pu'erh teas and Dark teas.

STORAGE
Proper tea storage is super important. Improper storage leads to flat, flavourless and potentially weird tasting tea. So as a rule of thumb, keep your tea leaves in an airtight container (the less air inside the better) and away from heat, light, moisture and strong odours.
