SUMMARY

Type: Ripe Pu'er Tea
Origin: Menghai, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China

Herbal, woody, earthy

A relatively young ripe pu'erh made from leaves that were processed in 2021, and pressed into 100g blocks made up of 9 smaller pieces in 2024. The somewhat lighter flavour profile and convenient block form make this a great everyday drinker and also serves as an excellent introduction to those unfamiliar with ripe pu'erh tea.

TASTING NOTES

An earthy, smooth and warming tea with woody undertones, a thick, luscious mouthfeel and sweet aftertaste.

STORAGE

Proper tea storage is super important. Improper storage leads to flat, flavourless and potentially weird tasting tea. So as a rule of thumb, keep your tea leaves in an airtight container (the less air inside the better) and away from heat, light, moisture and strong odours.
