The area around Chaozhou city is famous for producing Dancong tea, a variety of Oolong that has approximately 18 different aroma sub-varieties, each with its own unique flavour and characteristics. This Phoenix Iris Dancong, despite its name, has a more fruity flavour profile.


TASTING NOTES

A sweet, fruity type of Dancong with flavour notes of berries and iris flowers. A medium to full bodied tea that's smooth and sweet, with an aftertaste of sugarcane and floral aromatics.


PREPARATION NOTES

Gaiwan Gong-Fu style (preferred method)

Leaf weight 5g per 60 – 150ml of water
 93 degrees Celsius
 10 secs per infusion* (up to 8 infusions)

*First infusion is a quick 3 – 5 sec rinse and isn't drunk.

STORAGE
